Best for cars with a story and a following.
Collector, enthusiast and well-documented cars tend to do best online, where informed buyers compete for the right example. For many late-model cars, a private consignment or a direct offer will serve you better, and I'll tell you so.
- AssessmentI review the car, its history and recent comparable results.
- PreparationDetailing, photography, video and documentation.

Questions
Online auctions, explained.
Which platform is right for my car?
It depends on the car. Bring a Trailer reaches the broadest enthusiast audience, Cars & Bids is strong for modern enthusiast cars, and PCarMarket is well established for Porsches and other collectibles. I'll recommend the best fit.
Do the platforms charge fees?
Yes. Platforms charge their own listing and buyer's fees, which vary by platform and package. I'll explain them before you commit.
Should I set a reserve?
Often, yes. A reserve protects you, but setting it too high can discourage bidding. We'll agree on the right strategy for your car and the current market.
Do I need to be in Orange County?
I prepare and photograph cars throughout Orange County. For cars elsewhere, ask, and I'll tell you what's possible.
